Reservation of New Mine :

Government of Odisha have reserved vide Gazette notification no.1401, dated 16.11.2020 Thakurani Block-A area over 416.512 ha in Keonjhar District for raising and selling iron ore.

Development in Beach Sand Project :

The company has applied for reservation u/s 17A of MMDR Act-1957 for grant of mining lease over an area of 852.767 ha For Beach Sand Minerals over Bajrakot-Brahmagiri stretch along the coast in Gadakrushna Prasad Tahasil of Puri District. Atomic Mineral Directorate (AMD) has conducted mineral exploration for BSM and assessed 12.76 Million tones of heavy mineral resources at an average grade of 12.33% over the said area. Govt of Odisha has requested Ministry of Mines, GOI for consideration and to accord prior approval for grant of mining lease for Beach Sand Mineral over the area of 852.459 ha. After approval of Govt of India, Govt of Odisha shall issue grant order for mining lease
